The Tumaini Education Fund provides educational tools and awards scholarships to students to attend a university, college or a local trade school. We believe that the best way to help the country of Kenya, the youth, and their overall economy is to invest in their education. We have a team of a teachers, volunteers, and donors to help us implement better tools to help increase their academic success in grade school and gain admittance into an accredited college.

In order to attend school, each student must have the proper 'necessities.' This includes a school uniform, book bag, notebook and shoes. For many children, the one thing that keeps them from attending school is the mere fact that they can't afford a pair of shoes. For those student that do have a pair of shoes, you'll typically find them running, playing soccer, and walking barefoot. Why? Because, if they lose or damage their one pair of shoes they will not be able to attend school. Therefore, each year Think Kindness brings enough shoes for each child and provides the orphanage plenty of stock to last the rest of the year.

We use the power of film and video to highlight the impact every donation and act of Kindness had on children halfway around the world. In 2009, we produced a 30-minute short film called Tumaini Smiles. In 2010, we partnered with Purekix LLC., to produce a short film called Roots of Happiness. The stories we capture in Kenya are not only heartfelt but inspiring. We use the stories, pictures, and videos to inspire thousands of youth across the country to stand-up and make a difference in the world. They may be inspired to help Tumaini or a completely different global cause that touches their heart. Either way, we aim to inspire them to incorporate giving and Kindness into their everyday lives and future careers. At the end of the day, no matter what, the world is left a better place.
