Meet RJ
RJ is a 3rd generation Nevadan and has lived in the Reno/Sparks area his entire life. He graduated from Reed High School in 2004. After participating in an internship with Disney World in 2005, RJ worked as a sales associate at a local golf store. He began his career in Accounting with IGT in 2007, where he is still currently employed. He obtained a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Nevada – Reno in the spring 2009, and is will be receiving his a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus in Energy Policy in December 2011. His goal is to work in the renewable fuels industry; utilizing his accounting background, business knowledge, and understanding of energy policy to further advance the nation’s goal of energy independence.
In his free time RJ enjoys golfing, skiing, snowboarding, camping, boating, going to the beach, traveling, listening to music, going to concerts, and hanging out with friends and family. Along with being the treasurer of ThinkKindness, he donates a lot of his time to CareChest of Northern Nevada and serves on various committees, helping to organize major fundraisers. He is proud to associate his name with ThinkKindness and truly believes that random acts of kindness can and will change the world!
